ABOUT ME!
Summer Raye Mays is a 21-year-old actor, singer, dancer, and artist, based in NYC. Summer just graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with her B.F.A in Musical Theatre. This was a goal she had worked towards since her first trip to NYC, when she saw Annie The Musical! All of those "little girls," driving Miss Hannigan crazy, made her want to join the fun! Then, at age 16, and after having performed in nearly 40 shows at local theatres, Summer was thrilled to make her professional debut in the original cast of Mrs. Doubtfire the Musical at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, Washington. Understudying the role of Lydia Hilliard was an amazing, life-changing experience!

​Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Summer has trained and performed throughout the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and is an alumni of the Village Theatre Institute. ​Though performing is Summer's passion, she loves all aspects of theatre and film! She has been seen in commercials for companies such as LensCrafters and Microsoft, has choreographed and directed various shows in the Seattle area, and more recently, had the opportunity to produce two of her own shows at the famous 54 Below.

​Summer's broad range of interests also includes a specific passion for neurodiversity advocacy and awareness! In 2023, she began making psychology-related videos on her TikTok (@summer_stims) and has loved the community it has created. Now, it has gained 88,000 followers, and over 30 million views!

As a proud member of the Quinault Indian Nation, no matter where her life takes her she will always have ties to the beautiful Washington Coast and to her tribe and village who have constantly nurtured and supported her dreams.
